Spanakopita Ingredients

1 lb Butter ( Unsalted )   Salted 
2 Package Cheese ( Cottage )   Large cartons 
1 1/2 lb Cheese ( Feta )   Crumbled 
8 Whole Egg ( Whole )    
2 Package Fyllo    
2 Medium Spinach ( Canned )    
Spanakopita Directions
In a large bowl, mix the cottage cheese, eggs, spinach and crumbled feta.

Melt the butter in a separate bowl.

Place 3 layers of the fyllo pastry on the counter.

Sprinkle or brush the melted butter over the layers of pastry.

Sprinkle the filling over the pastry.

Fold the pastry towards you in a 3 inch fold.

Do not press down on the pastry as you are folding.

Place in a large pan and bake at 350 degrees until the tips get golden brown.

While still hot from the oven, cover the top with the melted butter.
