Chicken Okra
A variation of the previous recipe.

Chicken Okra Ingredients
Order Quantity Ingredient Alternative Notes
6-8 Item Chicken ( (Drumsticks) )    
2 Clove Garlic   Chopped 
2 Tablespoon Oil ( Olive )    
1 lb Okra   Fresh or frozen 
1 Large Onions ( White )   Chopped 
1-2 Pinch Parsley   To taste 
1-2 Pinch Pepper   To taste 
2-3 Pinch Salt   To taste 
1 Item Tomato ( Canned )    
1/2 Cup Wine ( Red )    
Chicken Okra Directions
** If using frozen okra (which is just fine) thaw first.

Put oil in hot casserole pan.

Salt & pepper the chicken parts and place them in pot.

Place cover on pot and be careful of platter.

Lightly brown them for 5-8 minutes.

Add chopped onion and garlic.

Stir and cook for 5 minutes.

Add okra, can of plum tomatoes, red wine, more salt & pepper and parsley.

Stir gently.

Cover and simmer for 1 hour.

Check the chicken for doneness.

Serve with hot white rice.
